How can I safely get through this Halloween?

Ok, this is my first year to go trick or treating by myself. I was invited to a party by my best friend. We’ve been friends since I was born. We were going to have a small party and go trick or treating. Well my friend invited around 6 other people. I know 2 of them but haven’t seen them in 5 years. They are all older then me except for one. My friend said that we would start at 6:00pm and end at 11:00pm in a neighborhood i’m not familiar with. This seems a little too long for me on my first time. Then to make it worse, she said that we would go to other neighborhoods with her horse back riding teacher in a golf cart. I’m guessing that they are a wild bunch since last time they were in a golf cart, they shattered someone’s ankle. They are one of the people going. I really feel uncomfortable going with them. I can’t get out of this because my parents think that this is a good opportunity to make new friends. I really hope that they don’t do anything stupid like T.P. someone’s house. I trust my friend but feel very anxious. Please help me with a solution.
